Hurricane Irma Update #4

Psalm 55:6-8

I said, “Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.  I would flee far away and stay in the desert; I would hurry to my place of shelter, far from the tempest and storm.”

After hearing the latest reports on Hurricane Irma, I could not think of a more perfect verse.

Donnie and I are in our room making some more preparations.  We’re hoping to send out as many updates as possible.  By all indications, the storm should last approximately 20 hours.  This means it is going to be a very long night and Wednesday morning.  Please, please, please be praying for our family on Barbuda.  Donaldson, Klarissa, Coach Cuffy, and so many more – we beg God to have mercy on these islands and keep them safe from the storm.

We are going to venture out shortly, to capture some of the changing conditions (our photographer insisted). It is not bad yet, but I expect that it will turn very rapidly this evening.

We will post more later.
