Hurricane Irma Update #3

We have been feverishly preparing for the arrival of Hurricane Irma, now a Category 5 Hurricane with sustained winds of 180MPH.

Irma is trekking west at 14MPH. The anticipated arrival of eye will be around 8 to 9pm local time. It couldn’t be worse timing.

Our friends on Barbuda and Antigua have been preparing as well. Helping out neighbors, boarding up windows and otherwise ensuring that there is enough food and water to last through the storm, and beyond. Peter Cuffy has been a machine the last 48 hours.

Here are a few photos taken by Howard Segree and Akia Cheeka Joseph pre-storm. Take a look at the pic of all the lounge chairs in the pool where we are staying.  It is just eery to see that.

I want to also include some of the beautiful sights of Antigua and Barbuda, our friends, and depiction of prayer that is going out over these islands right now. Our photographer and videographer has them posted here: http://pics.macbugphotography.com/…/Barbuda-and-Antigua-Be…/

Please be in prayer for the arrival of any assistance that may be needed. Please also consider donating to Hurricane Irma Relief effort at: https://bonniefloydministries.churchcenteronline.com/…/hurr… – Updates ongoing at www.bonniefloyd.com.

With much prayer,
Bonnie and Donnie
