Don’t just read the Bible, picture it!

There is a story in the Bible, where the evil King of Syria is very mad as it appears there is a spy among his army, because every move he makes the Israelites are always one step ahead of him. He is told by one of his officers, “It is none of us, but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, he tells the King of Israel the very words you speak in your bedroom.”

Just imagine how that went down and the look on the Syrian King’s face!

The Syrian King finds Elisha in Dothan and surrounds the city. Early in the morning Elisha’s servant went out and saw the Syrian army was around the city with horses and chariots. He panics and says to Elisha, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” Elisha answered, “Fear not; for those with us are more than those with them.”

Are you picturing this? Because it’s about to GET GOOD!

Then Elisha prayed, “Lord, I pray You, open my servants eyes that he may see.” And the Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

AHHH!!! An army of God’s holy mighty angels on horses with chariots of fire! Can you just imagine how HUGE those horses and chariots are? Because God’s angels are ginormous!

Okay, I pictured it and my heart is racing and my spirit is dancing! Well that was fun 🙂

“I know who goes before me
 I know who stands behind
 The God of angel armies
Is always by my side”
